SC to hear further submissions today on FR petition challenging mandatory cremations

The Supreme Court will hear further submissions today in the Fundamental Rights petition filed challenging the mandatory cremations of those who have died as a result of COVID-19.

When the petition was taken up for hearing yesterday, Counsel for the petitioners made submissions against the regulations made by the Minister of Health that made cremations mandatory.
