The Hayleys PLC yesterday said its recently announced Rights issue has been oversubscribed, drawing total subscriptions of over
Rs. 11 billion.
The company had sought to raise Rs. 9 billion via a rights issue of 45 million ordinary voting shares at Rs. 200 per share, as announced on 21 January 2026.
Hayleys said the level of subscription, including applications for additional shares, amounted to 55,243,312 shares, with a total value of Rs. 11,048,662,400.
Accordingly, the Rights issue has been oversubscribed, reflecting demand beyond the initial offering.
The company noted that the disclosure remains subject to the realisation of cheques, bank confirmations and other verifications.
