Revised ASPI from today

The revised index calculation methodology of the Colombo Stock Exchange’s All Share Price Index (ASPI) from full market capitalisation-weighting to public float-adjusted market capitalisation will be implemented from today.

The Index methodology has been published on the CSE web site.

As of Friday, the ASPI was up 9.37% in 2022. Last year it gained by 80.5%.

Expolanka was the largest by market capitalisation of Rs. 764 billion as of Friday and LOLC was second with Rs. 632 billion. Browns Investments was third with Rs. 241 billion and JKH fourth with Rs. 223 billion.
