The Trade, Commerce, Food Security and Co-operative Development Ministry is set to award the largest lottery prize in Sri Lanka’s history today (10),
with a jackpot of Rs. 629.8 million under the Jayamalle Kapruka Lottery.
The winning prize was drawn on 19 February 2026, marking a record pay-out for the country’s lottery sector. The official cheque presentation is scheduled to take place at the Development Lottery Board auditorium under the patronage of Trade, Commerce, Food Security and Co-operative Development Minister Wasantha Samarasinghe.
