Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe said yesterday he will continue in the post after the election.

“He (Sajith Premadasa) will be the President. I will be the Prime Minister,” he said.

“The Premier will be chosen by the majority in the next Parliament, and I will have the majority,” Wickremesinghe added.
