The organising committee of the ‘ONE LOVE Reggae Music Festival 2026’ has announced the postponement of the festival originally scheduled to be held at the end of March in Bentota.
One In A Million Company Ltd., on behalf of the ONE LOVE organising committee, said that following a comprehensive evaluation and acting in the best interests of all stakeholders, including artists, partners, patrons, and host destinations, the festival has been rescheduled for August 2026, which heralds the next tourist season.
The decision to reschedule the ONE LOVE Reggae Music Festival, first of its kind in Asia, has been made after careful consideration of several factors including the tensions in the Middle East and disruptions to air travel, the safety and convenience of international artists, as well as the timely completion of venue development works at Warahena Beach, Bentota, with necessary regulatory and provincial authorities’ approvals.
The organisers sincerely appreciate the continued support, patience, and understanding of its sponsors, partners, artists, tourism authorities, media representatives, and reggae fans both locally and internationally.
