Passports to cost more

All passport charges have been increased from today, as per the 2023 Budget proposal to increase fees levied by the Department of Immigration and Emigration.

As per the new revision, 10 passport related fees increased.

For the issuance of passports under normal service Rs. 5,000 will be charged, while Rs. 20,000 will be charged for the one-day service, a statement issued by the Department of Immigration and Emigration noted.
