The 2025 Budget allocations for the Ministry of Defence and the Ministry of Public Security and Parliamentary Affairs were approved in Parliament yesterday.
The vote saw 88 members in favour and only 10 against.
The allocation in Budget 2025 for defence was Rs. 437 billion, up by Rs. 12 billion from estimate for 2024.
