The Election Commission (EC) handed over 659,000 postal ballot papers for the Presidential Election to the Postal Department for distribution yesterday. The distribution of the ballot papers to the postal service was completed island-wide by last evening, the EC said.
Postal voting for State officials will be held on 30 and 31 October while postal voting for security personnel will be held on 4 November.
