McDonald’s and franchisee part ways amicably

The franchise relationship between McDonald’s Corporation and International Restaurant Systems Ltd., has ended.

In a joint statement they said they have entered a legal settlement mutually agreeable to them.

“McDonald’s Corporation and International Restaurant Systems Ltd., extend their gratitude to the public for their support during this period and encourage the public to disregard any rumours or speculation previously circulated in the media,” the joint statement added.
