Political parties that handed over their nominations yesterday also handed in the list of nominees included in their National Lists to enter Parliament as nominated MPs.

Among those in the SLPP National List are former Minister Prof. G.L. Peries, attorney Ali Sabry PC, former Governor of the Central Bank Ajith Nivard Cabraal, cricketer T.M. Dilshan, and former Governor of the Western Province Seetha Arambepola.

The UNP National List includes former Ministers John Amaratunga and Karunasena Kodituwakku, while Sajith Premadasa’s SJB included former MPs Tissa Attanayake, Harin Fernando, Imtiaz Bakeer Markar, Eran Wickramaratne, and Ranjith Madduma Bandara.

Twenty-nine MPs will enter Parliament through the National List, with allocations for each Party depending on the percentage of votes polled in the General Election.
