LAUGFS Gas yesterday announced an increase in domestic liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) refill prices, with the revised rates coming into effect from midnight (6 February).
Accordingly, the price of a 12.5 kg domestic gas cylinder has been increased by Rs. 80 to Rs. 4,330, while the price of a 5 kg domestic cylinder has been raised by Rs. 32 to Rs. 1,742.
The company said the revised prices apply to domestic consumers islandwide with effect from today.
The latest revision comes amid ongoing adjustments in the local energy market, impacting household cooking gas costs for February 2026.
