IFC to invest Rs. 3.27 b in Sunshine Healthcare

Sunshine Holdings PLC yesterday disclosed that that the International Finance Corporation (IFC), a member of the World Bank Group, has agreed to invest an amount of up to Rs. 3.27 billion in fully owned subsidiary Sunshine Healthcare Lanka Ltd.

This will be in the form of equity subject to the performance of agreed conditions precedent set out in the Subscription Agreement executed between the parties, including the execution of additional transactional documentation therefor.



Sunshine said it will be making further announcements in relation to this transaction including on the equity dilution of the Company in Sunshine Healthcare Lanka Ltd., in due course.
