Hutch becomes sole telecom brand to win at Sri Lanka Brand Leadership Awards 2020

Hutch, Sri Lanka’s preferred choice for mobile broadband services received the rare recognition of being the only telecom brand to have clinched awards at the recently concluded Sri Lanka Brand Leadership Awards 2020. 

At the ceremony, where many other leading brands too clinched awards, Hutch won not one but two awards. The twin awards Hutch clinched at the Leadership Awards 2020 were ‘Best Marketing Campaign of the Year’ and ‘Emerging Brand of the Year.’ 

The ‘Best Marketing Campaign of the Year award’ was in recognition of Hutch’s ‘Be Anywhere’ – 4G coverage campaign while ‘Emerging Brand of the Year’ award was in recognition of the company’s overall brand performance in 2020.

Commenting on the wins, Hutch Chief Marketing Officer Ramzeena Morseth Lye said: “We are truly honoured and proud to win two big accolades from one of the world’s most sought-after award events. ‘Sri Lanka Brand Leadership’ is an annual awards accolade organised by CMO Asia, a premium platform that recognises outstanding contributions of the marketing fraternity. Held this year as a virtual event, Sri Lanka Brand Leadership Awards 2020 recognised best organisations, brands and individuals for their commitment towards branding, consumer engagement and making a social change through impact-driven contributions.
