Hayleys PLC yesterday said it has purchased 778,946 ordinary shares of Harischandra Mills PLC at Rs. 3,300 each amounting to a 40.58% stake in the company for Rs. 2.57 billion from Senthilverl Holdings Ltd.
Harischandra Mills’ shares closed up sharply at Rs. 7,424.50 a share yesterday, gaining nearly Rs. 2,500 from the previous close Rs. 4,949.75.
The company reported a group net asset value per share of Rs. 931.40 as of end-June 2025.
