Harini to attend China “Global Leaders’ Meeting on Women”

Prime Minister Dr. Harini Amarasuriya

At the invitation of the Government of the People’s Republic of China, Prime Minister Dr. Harini Amarasuriya is scheduled to visit China from 12-15 October.

During her visit, the Prime Minister will deliver a speech at the “Global Leaders’ Meeting on Women” jointly organised by China and UN Women on the theme “One Shared Future: New & Accelerated Process for Women’s All-round Development”, in Beijing.

The Prime Minister will also have several high-level meetings, including with President Xi Jinping, and Premier Li Qiang.
