The Housing Development Finance Corporation Bank of Sri Lanka (HDFC Bank) yesterday revealed that it has come under certain regulatory restrictions imposed by the Central Bank of Sri Lanka (CBSL) relating to its business expansion and discretionary payments.
The HDFC Bank’s disclosure via a filing to the Colombo Stock Exchange (CSE) did not reveal any other details.
There has not been any public announcement by the CBSL either on its actions on HDFC Bank.
