The Sri Lanka Institute of Directors (SLID) will welcome two of Asia’s most distinguished business leaders — CG Corp Global Chairman and President Dr. Binod K. Chaudhary and Minor International Group CEO Dillip Rajakarier — as keynote speakers at the Sri Lanka Corporate Director Summit 2026, to be held on 22 July at Cinnamon Grand Colombo.
Bringing together decades of global leadership, entrepreneurship, and boardroom experience, the two leaders will share perspectives on how directors can navigate disruption, seize growth opportunities, and build resilient organisations in an increasingly interconnected and uncertain global business environment.
Recognised by Forbes as Nepal’s first billionaire, Dr. Binod K. Chaudhary has transformed CG Corp Global into one of South Asia’s most diversified multinational conglomerates, with more than 200 companies and over 260 brands operating across five continents.
Participating in the Fireside Chat ‘Future-Ready Sri Lankan Boards: The Road Ahead,’ Dr. Chaudhary will share his insights on ‘Beyond Borders, Beyond Limits: How Directors Can Build Global Ambition from Small Markets,’ exploring how boards can encourage global thinking, foster innovation, and create organisations capable of competing on the world stage.
Joining him is Dillip Rajakarier, a globally respected hospitality leader who serves as Group CEO of Minor International and CEO of Minor Hotels. Under his leadership, Minor Hotels has expanded into one of the world’s leading hospitality groups, with a portfolio of over 560 hotels across 58 countries, including internationally recognised brands such as Anantara, Avani, NH Collection, Tivoli, and Oaks.
His keynote address, ‘Global Supply Chain and Impact on Boards,’ will examine how geopolitical developments, supply chain resilience, and strategic oversight have become critical priorities for modern boards.
Together, these internationally acclaimed leaders will provide valuable perspectives on governance, sustainable growth, and the evolving role of directors in shaping future-ready organisations.
Held under the theme ‘Future-Ready Sri Lankan Directors – From Compliance to Sustainable Growth,’ the Sri Lanka Corporate Director Summit 2026 will bring together board directors, CEOs, policymakers, and governance professionals for a day of strategic dialogue, thought leadership, and high-level networking focused on strengthening the future of corporate leadership in Sri Lanka.
