Gamini Gunaratne appointed to Hayleys Board

Hayleys PLC yesterday announced the appointment of Gamini Gunaratne to its Board as an Independent Non-Executive Director.

Gunaratne currently serves as the Chairman of Lanka Hotels and Residencies Ltd. and Urban Investments and Development Company Ltd. In addition, he holds the position of Director of Lanka Walltiles PLC, Lanka Tiles PLC, Lanka Ceramic PLC, Horana Plantations PLC, Insurance and Financial Services Ltd, Swisstek Ceylon PLC, Dipped Products PLC, Singer Industries Ceylon PLC and Regnis (Lanka) PLC. He served as Vice Chairman of the National Water Supply and Drainage Board from 2010 to 2015.

With the latest appointment, the Hayleys PLC Board comprises Mohan Pandithage (Chairman and CEO), K.D.D. Perera (Co-Chairman), S.C. Ganegoda, H.S.R. Kariyawasan, H. Cabral, L.R.V. Waidyaratne, M.H. Jamaldeen, M.Y.A. Perera, N.L.S. Joseph, J. Dharmasena, R.J. Karunarajah and K.D.G. Gunaratne.
