The Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (CEYPETCO) last night announced a revision of fuel prices with effect from midnight, followed by Lanka IOC.
Auto Diesel has been increased by Rs. 15 to Rs. 289 per litre, while Petrol 92 Octane has been increased by Rs. 12 to Rs. 305 per litre. Kerosene has also been increased by Rs. 7 to Rs. 185.
However, the prices of Petrol 95 Octane and Super Diesel remain unchanged.
Lanka IOC said they would be following the same revised prices as the CEYPETCO.
The upward price revision was expected following the tensions in the Middle East.
