Foreign portfolio investment in rupee-denominated Government securities recorded a net inflow of Rs. 6.44 billion during the week ended 30 July, extending a sustained buying trend by overseas investors, according to Wealth Trust Securities.
The latest inflow lifted total foreign holdings of Government Securities to Rs. 188.82 billion, the highest level since June 2023 and an over three-year high.
