Finco Holdings Ltd., has bought a near 11% stake of Sanasa Development Bank PLC (SDB) for Rs. 881.48 million from Nederlandse Financierings-Maatschappij voor Ontwikkelingslanden N.V.
The deal comprised a little over 17.98 million shares at Rs. 49 each. The share closed Friday at Rs. 54.50.
SDB reported a net asset value per share of Rs. 89.80 as of end-June 2025.
With the purchase, Finco becomes the third largest shareholder of SDB. Other major shareholders are LOLC Investment Holding (15%), Senthilverl Holdings (12%) and Belgian Investment Company for Developing Countries (10%).
