Family-owned Renuka Hotels list via introduction

Longstanding city hotel Renuka has opted to list itself on the Colombo Stock Exchange via an introduction.

The CSE said it has approved in principle an application by Renuka Hotels Ltd. to list 40,297,530 shares on the Diri Savi Board by way of an introduction.

The company is owned by the family of veteran hotelier Ravi Thambiayah. The group's other leisure venture Renuka City Hotel Plc has been a listed entity since October 1992. Renuka Hotels Ltd. owns 62.22% stake in the listed entity.
