Sports Minister Sunil Kumara Gamage has appointed a nine-member Restructuring Committee for Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) to run the affairs of cricket in the country, with former MP and State Minister Eran Wickramaratne as Chairman.
The Committee also includes three former Sri Lanka cricketers: Sidath Wettimuny, Roshan Mahanama, and Kumar Sangakkara.
Other members comprise Prakash Schaffter, Dinal Philips, Thushira Raddella, Upul Kumarapperuma, and Avanthi Colombage.
The appointment follows the resignation of SLC President Shammi Silva and rest of the Executive Committee yesterday.
