Education Minister urges not to interrupt power till A/Ls end

Education Minister Dinesh Gunawardena yesterday said he has requested relevant authorities to refrain from imposing power cuts during the time period in which the GCE Advanced Level Examination will be held.

The Education Minister said the A/Level Exam will be held from the 7 February to 5 March, adding that there is no need to make any changes.

Minister Gunawardena also said that all preparations are in place to conduct the exam.

The GCE A/L exam was due to be held in November 2021 but was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
