Country Managing Partner EY Sri Lanka and Maldives, Manil Jayesinghe will retire from the Partnership effective 30 June 2023.  Throughout his distinguished career, Manil has made significant contributions to the Firm’s growth, reputation, and excelled in client service. With over 41 years of dedicated service, he has illustrated leadership, integrity, and a commitment to the highest standards of professionalism.

 His strategic vision and unwavering dedication have solidified EY’s position as a trusted advisor to businesses communities and individuals across Sri Lanka and Maldives.

With an exceptional track record and 39 years of extensive industry experience, Duminda Hulangamuwa will be taking over the role of Country Managing Partner for Sri Lanka and Maldives from 1 July 2023. His exceptional leadership skills and strategic mindset have consistently provided remarkable results throughout his career. Duminda is widely recognised for his ability to foster innovation, drive operational efficiency, and build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.

As the new Country Managing Partner, Duminda will spearhead the Firm’s vision of providing exceptional client service, fostering innovation, and nurturing talent within the organisation. He will collaborate closely with the Firm’s leadership team to ensure the Firm upholds its reputation as a trusted advisor to the business community.

Duminda is a Fellow Member of the Chartered Institute of Accountants Sri Lanka and the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (UK). He also earned a Bachelor of Laws from the University of London.
