Double XL celebrates 14 years of empowerment with plus-size fashion

Double XL, the trailblazer in plus-size clothing, recently commemorated its 14th anniversary with a heartfelt celebration at its flagship store. 

Founded by Adhisha Dahanayake together with Priyan Senarath and Deminthe Dahanayake, Double XL has been a beacon of inclusivity, catering to the fashion needs of plus-size men and women with sizes ranging from XL to 6XL. As the festivities unfolded, it became evident that Double XL’s legacy extended far beyond fashion; it symbolised empowerment, acceptance, and self-love.

The anniversary event, attended by the directors, dedicated staff members, and loyal customers, was a testament to the brand’s profound impact. The occasion commenced with the ceremonial cutting of the anniversary cake, setting the tone for a joyous and reflective gathering.
