Dipped Products invests Rs. 1 b more to boost capacity

In keeping with its expansion plans, Dipped Products PLC (DPL) has entered into a 30-year lease agreement with the Board of Investment of Sri Lanka to take on lease a land in extent of 4.75 acres, together with the buildings situated thereon, in the Katunayake Export Processing Zone for Rs. 1 billion.

“This acquisition is aimed at enhancing DPL’s production capacity to support its long-term growth plans,” the company said in a filing to the Colombo Stock Exchange.
