The Department of Immigration and Emigration yesterday announced that passport services will be limited for three days in view of the 2025 Local Government elections.
According to the Department, the 24-hour service for ‘one-day’ passport issuance will not be operated on 5-7 May. The Department further noted that other services will be restricted during this period.
The LG election is scheduled for 6 May 2025.
