Daya new Industries Secretary; Nihal new Port Chief

Retd. General Daya Ratnayake has been appointed as the new Secretary to the Ministry of Industries.

The move follows incumbent Anusha Pelpita leaving the public service for personal reasons. Minister of Industries is Wimal Weerawansa.

Previously Ratnayake was the Chairman of the Sri Lanka Ports Authority (SLPA). Former Managing Director Master Capt. Nihal Keppetipola has been appointed in his place.

Capt. Keppetipola is also the Chairman of the Ceylon Fishery Harbours Corporation.
