Daily FT–ICCSL webinar today on “Future Proofing the Banking Sector”

The Daily FT–ACCA and The International Chamber of Commerce Sri Lanka (ICCSL), together with WIM, The Sri Lanka Institute of Directors, Employers Federation of Ceylon, Association of Accounting Technicians, MBA Alumni Association of the University of Colombo and the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka will be conducting a webinar.

Titled “Future-Proofing the Banking Sector”, the webinar is accessible to all, today (13) from 4:00 p.m. onwards. This webinar will be broadcasted live via Facebook platforms of ICCSL, WIM, MBA alumni, ACCA and on the YouTube channel “Business Detective”.

Several eminent foreign as well as Sri Lankan experts who are conversant with this vital subject will be heard on this program.

The keynotes will be delivered by Commercial Bank of Ceylon Chief Executive Officer Sanath Manatunge, Hatton National Bank PLC Chief Executive Officer Damith Pallewatte and Central Bank of Sri Lanka (CBSL) Member of the Governing Board Manil Jayasinghe.

The panel will comprise of BDO Partners Managing Partner Sujeewa Rajapakse, University of Buckingham Professor of Finance, School of Business Prof. Gurcharan Singh, Bartleet Research Assistant Prof. Heshan Chamika, State Bank of India – Sri Lanka, Anita Richard Sontumya, Genea CEO and Vision Deploy Managing Director Ahmed Ibrahim, CBSL former Assistant Governor and Payments and Settlement Department Director Dr. Dharmasri Kumaratunge, CA Sri Lanka President Tishan Subasinghe, Legal Consultant Shivan Cooray, and Mastercard Country Manager – Bangladesh, Bhutan, Maldives, Nepal and Sri Lanka Sandun Hapugoda.
