The Daily FT – ACCA and The International Chamber of Commerce Sri Lanka, together with WIM, The Sri Lanka Institute of Directors, MBA Alumni Association of the University of Colombo, The Employers Federation of Ceylon, AICPA, CIMA, and BIMT Campus will be conducting a webinar.

Titled “How AI is reshaping jobs skills and the workplace’’ the webinar will be accessible to all, on today from 4.00 p.m. onwards.

This webinar will be broadcasted live via Facebook platforms of EFC, ICCSL, WIM, MBA alumni, ACCA and BIMT Campus.

Several eminent foreign as well as Sri Lankan experts who are conversant with this vital subject will be heard on this program.

The keynotes will be delivered by the Chief Adviser to the President on Digital Economy of Sri Lanka, Dr. Hans Wijayasuriya. ACCA Asia Pacific Policy and Insights Manager Dean Hezekiah and the DHL Supply Chain (Thailand cluster) CEO Steve Walker.

The panel will comprise of Nimbus Cloud Lanka Ltd. Managing Director Damith Hettihewa, Microimage Founder and CEO Harsha Purasinghe, Employers’ Federation of Ceylon Director General Vajira Ellepola, University of Buckingham Faculty of Computing, Law, and Psychology Dean Prof. Harin Sellahewa, Alliance for AI and Humanity President, Author and Technopreneur Dr. Anton Ravindran, NCINGA Chief Technology Officer Chathura Peiris, as well as University of Greater Manchester Data Science and AI/program Leader – Mres Senior Lecturer Dr. Pradeep Hewage.

The session will be moderated by Accounting Business Lecturer Cathrine Weerakkody and ‘plus94 fund’ Strategic Consultant Arj Samarakoon.
