  • Key event to explore theme of transforming workplace culture from ‘Good to Great’

In a world where organisational success is synonymous with a thriving workplace culture, the Great Place to Work For All Conference 2023 is the source of inspiration for leaders wanting to improve their workplaces. 

Focused on innovation, collaboration, and elevation, the event will be held on 7 September from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. at Shangri-La Hotel Colombo’s Grand Ballroom.

The event will commence with a presentation on ‘Great Starts Here’ from Great Place to Work Sri Lanka Director and CEO Kshanika Ratnayaka, followed by a captivating talk by Great Place to Work Global CEO Micheal C. Bush, shedding light on the ethos of a FOR ALL Leader. The spotlight will then turn to John Keells Holdings PLC Chairperson and CEO Krishan Balendra, delving into the transformation journey from “Good to Great.” 

The conference will next go into a series of breakout sessions, where the attendees will have the privilege of learning from the expertise of the Great Manager Institute Co-Founder and CEO Prasenjit Bhattacharya, and Director Dalreen Patrao, as they share their knowledge on the science behind people management. Simultaneously, LMI South Asia Director and Co-Master Licensee Ashok Thussu, will provide strategies on ‘Unlocking Human Potential’.

The next part of the breakout session will have 

Awesome180 Habit Coach and Founder Ashdin Doctor delving into the intricacies of workplace habits that shape behaviour and culture. Parallelly, a panel featuring Infomate CEO Jehan Perinpanayagam, Virtusa Global Head of Facilities and Sustainability Denver de Zylva, KPMG ESG and Assurance Partner Pyumi Sumanasekara, Brandix Group Director Natasha Boralessa, and PwC Director Zahra Cader, will engage in a discussion centred around the theme of ‘Future Proofing the Workplace: Purpose Driven Approach to ESG’.

During the afternoon breakout sessions, attendees can expect to gain valuable insights and stay updated on trends in the industry from Great Place to Work – Sri Lanka Assessment Business and Client Services Head Ruwani Alwishewa. Following this, a dynamic panel comprising 99X Founder/CEO Mano Sekaram, AIA Director Human Resources Thushari Perera, and DIMO Board Director/Group Chief Human Resources Officer Dilrukshi Kurukulasuriya, who have worked with Great Place to Work – Sri Lanka for over a decade and have driven their organization from ‘Good to Great’ will focus on the pivotal aspects of innovate, collaborate, and elevate.

Next is a discussion on the topic ‘Workplace Culture Transformation’ with regional panellists from China, India, and the Middle East.

This will then be followed by LaurusMark Strategy Director and Founder Shehan Wijetilaka, speaking on the ‘Rewards of Being Resilient’.
