Commercial Credit to raise Rs. 5 b via high-yield bond issue

Commercial Credit and Finance PLC is to raise Rs. 5 billion via an issuance of high-yield bond issue.

Its Board last week resolved to issue 30 million listed, rated, unsecured, subordinated high-yield bonds at Rs. 100 each and a further 30 million bonds in the event of oversubscription of the initial issue.

The tenor of the bonds will be 5 years with the principal being repaid on maturity and the bonds will not be convertible to ordinary shares that confer voting rights.

Other conditions of the bonds including the interest rate, type of interest (fixed or floating) and frequency and basis of allotment will be finalised and notified later.
