ComBank to set up fund management subsidiary in Singapore

Commercial Bank is to set up a fund management subsidiary in Singapore.

It said the Monetary Board has approved the move in terms of the Banking Act subject to complying with requirements specified under the Foreign Exchange Act.

It will be the first venture of its kind for the 100-year-old Commercial Bank, which via subsidiaries/joint ventures has operations in Bangladesh, the Maldives, and Myanmar.
