The Ceylon Chamber of Commerce yesterday commended the new administration for swiftly resolving the visa on arrival issue by reinstating the Electronic Travel Authorisation system.
“The tourism industry has been gravely concerned about this matter impacting the positive growth momentum of the sector. Resolving the visa matter was one of the top ten priorities the Chamber urged the President to address within his first six months in office,” the Ceylon Chamber said.
The Ceylon Chamber also said it will continue to support the Government in the implementation of other priority areas outlined in Vision 2030.
