Cabinet green light for National Policy on Natural Gases in Sri Lanka

Cabinet has given its approval for an amended National Policy on Natural Gases in Sri Lanka, which was prepared by a committee comprising 17 experts.

The committee was appointed in February with the approval of the Cabinet of Ministers, who were tasked with inspecting and tabling the required amendments to the draft National Policy on Natural Gases in Sri Lanka. The report was presented to Cabinet Minister of Energy Udaya Gammanpila.
