CSE observes one-minute silence

The Colombo Stock Exchange yesterday observed a minute’s silence after the Regular Trading session commenced following the Open Auction on the Automated Trading System (ATS) as a mark of respect to the victims of the tragic events that took place in Sri Lanka on Sunday.

Accordingly, the CSE imposed a trading halt on the ATS for one minute at around 10:32 a.m. The Regular Trading session continued thereafter as scheduled.

“Our thoughts are with the victims and their loved ones,” CSE said in a statement.
