CSE extends trading by half-hour

The Colombo Stock Exchange (CSE) in consultation of the Securities and Exchange Commission of Sri Lanka (SEC) have decided to extend the trading hours with effect from 1 November.

The pre-open session is 9:30 a.m. to 10 a.m.; Open Auction at 10 a.m. and Regular Trading will commence at 10 a.m. The market close will be at 1 p.m., as opposed to 12:30 p.m. as at present.
