CIC Holdings PLC yesterday announced plans to subdivide its voting and non-voting shares on the basis of 1:5.
CIC’s existing number of company shares comprises Voting (291,600,000) and Non-voting (87,480,000).
Post subdivision, the quantum will be Voting (1,458,000,000) and Non-voting (437,400,000).
The move is subject to regulatory and shareholder approval.
CIC voting shares yesterday gained by Rs. 9.25 or 7% to close at Rs. 142.50.
