The Central Bank of Sri Lanka (CBSL) is organising an ‘Open Day Program’ on 22 and 23 March at the Gregory Lake Car Park in Nuwara Eliya.
The event will be graced by the presence of the CBSL Governor Dr. Nandalal Weerasinghe, on 23 March at 10 a.m.
This open day initiative includes:
nDigital payments promotion campaign – This event aims to enhance public awareness of the latest digital payment methods and provide personalised guidance on making digital payments using mobile phones. The event will include Mobile payment apps service providers including banks, finance companies and e-money service providers such as telecommunication companies, as well as Micro, Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (MSMEs) to facilitate hands-on experience and engagement.
