CBSL approves BOC GM/CEO appointment

Bank of Ceylon (BOC) yesterday said that the Central Bank of Sri Lanka (CBSL) has granted approval for Y.A. Jayathilaka to perform executive functions as the General Manager/CEO of the bank with effect from 27 February 2026.

Jayathilaka was Acting GM/CEO since 6 August 2025. Prior to that, he was Deputy General Manager – Product and Banking Development.

He was appointed to the Corporate Management of the bank in February 2020 and has since held several key leadership positions.
