CBSL Governor, Fin. Min. officials before Public Finance Committee today

• CBSL, Treasury officials summoned to discuss the prevailing economic situation and solutions 
• COPE summons BOC officials to examine AG reports

The Governor of the Central Bank and other senior officials will appear before the Committee on Public Finance today.

The Chairman of the Committee MP Anura Priyadarshana Yapa said the decision to summon the Governor of the Central Bank, the Secretary to the Ministry of Finance and other officials is to discuss the prevailing economic situation in the country.

Meanwhile the Committee on Public Enterprises (COPE) has summoned officials of the Bank of Ceylon (BOC) to appear before it today to examine the Auditor General›s reports and current performance of the bank.
