The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka (CA Sri Lanka) will inaugurate its 47th National Conference of Chartered Accountants tomorrow (7), bringing together business leaders, C-suite executives, policymakers, entrepreneurs, and finance professionals for three days of insight, dialogue, and forward-looking perspectives.

Recognised as Sri Lanka’s largest annual business summit and a flagship event of CA Sri Lanka, the national conference has brought together leading local and international voices from business, Government, academia, and the accounting profession since 1979.

This year’s conference will feature renowned technologist and entrepreneur WSO2 Founder and former Chief Executive Officer Dr. Sanjiva Weerawarana as its Chief Guest.

Held under the theme ‘FUSION: Connecting Ideas | Creating Impact,’ the conference will take place from 7 to 9 October at Monarch Imperial, exploring the evolving role of the Chartered Accountant in an increasingly interconnected and rapidly changing world.

Featuring more than 30 speakers, panellists, and moderators, the conference will offer a diverse program of keynote addresses, presentations, panel discussions, and thought-provoking conversations. The three-day event will examine how knowledge, innovation, technology, and human insight can be brought together to create meaningful value and support sustainable progress, with perspectives spanning technology, business, leadership, entrepreneurship, wellbeing, and governance.

Delegates will explore the opportunities and challenges shaping organisations, industries, and society, while considering the ideas, capabilities, and leadership needed to navigate an increasingly complex global environment.

With a history spanning over four decades, the national conference has evolved into a premier business forum recognised for examining issues influencing Sri Lanka’s economic and professional landscape, while considering the wider forces shaping the global economy.
