Parliament yesterday approved the third reading of Budget 2026 with 158 MPs in favour, one voting against, and two abstaining.
The vote followed a 21-day debate that closed the legislature’s budget proceedings for the year.
This is the second budget presented by the National Peoples’ Power administration. Parliament is scheduled to reconvene on 6 January 2026.
