Bollywood superstar Anil Kapoor on a ‘jahkaas’ holiday in SL

Evergreen Bollywood star, Anil Kapoor is in Sri Lanka relishing time with his wife Sunita Kapoor and friends in the southern coast. 

The social media platforms on Instagram and Twitter accounts of the 65-year-old actor and film producer are full of images of him busy sprinting on the beach, playing snooker, flexing his muscles and working out. Yesterday morning he posted a picture in Bentota and captioned it: “Posing in front of the Lunuganga Geoffrey Bawa Country Estate’s iconic frangipani tree!” 

The much-adored legendary star is known for his ageless charm, as he enjoys some memorable moments exploring the beauty of Sri Lanka. Anil Kapoor has always been an inspiration for the youngsters. His fitness and infectious energy can give any new kid on the block a run for his money.  The jhakass (fantastic) actor is giving the young actors of Bollywood a run for their money with his fit body and easy charm. 

Anil Kapoor made his Bollywood debut in 1979 with a small role in a feature film, Hamare Tumhare. He got his first lead role in Woh 7 Din in 1981 and has never looked back since. Globally, Kapoor is one of the most recognised Indian film actors. Having performed in over 100 films, Kapoor's first role in an international film was in Danny Boyle's Academy Award-winning film Slumdog Millionaire and his performance in the eighth season of the action series 24 generated rave reviews globally. 

He is known not only for his impeccable acting skills, but also for his unmatched wit and humour on and off the screen. From performing on Over-The-Top (OTT) platforms to wearing a producer’s cap and trying his hand – successfully – at comedy, he has a legion of fans for good reason.
