The Sri Lanka Institute of Directors (SLID), in partnership with Union Bank of Colombo PLC, Port City Colombo, and the Daily FT, will host an exclusive evening to mark the launch of the book titled “Made in Nepal: Lessons in Business Building from the Land of Everest,” authored by renowned Nepalese billionaire businessman, politician, and philanthropist Dr. Binod Chaudhary, in Sri Lanka.
The event will take place today (15) from 5:30 p.m. onwards at the Sales Gallery, Port City Colombo.
Dr. Chaudhary, Group Chairman and President of Chaudhary Group, is widely recognised for building a global business empire. The book reflects on his remarkable entrepreneurial journey and the lessons he has learned in building and scaling businesses across international markets.
The evening will also feature a keynote by Dr. Chaudhary followed by a fireside chat moderated by Daily FT CEO Nisthar Cassim, on the topic “Building Blocks of Building a Global Business.” This session is expected to offer attendees valuable insights and perspectives on global business leadership, growth strategies, and navigating international markets.
