The Central Bank of Sri Lanka and the banking sector will stay open on Wednesdays with bank branches open from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The special State-sector holiday every Wednesday to control fuel consumption does not apply to the banking sector, although
Cheque deposit cut off time will be 11:30 a.m., and RTGS/SLIPS/OTT instructions will be processed on next working day.
