With Sri Lanka’s peak tourism season commencing, passengers departing from Bandaranaike International Airport can now check in up to four hours before their flight, Airport and Aviation Services (Sri Lanka) announced yesterday.
The new measure is intended to ease congestion, improve passenger convenience, and streamline operations during peak travel periods at the country’s main international airport.
