Ambeon Holdings to sell Taprobane Capital Plus for Rs. 2 b to parent co.

Ambeon Holdings PLC has announced plans to divest its wholly owned subsidiary, Taprobane Capital Plus Ltd, for a total consideration of Rs. 2.02 billion. 

The decision was approved by the company’s Board of Directors at a meeting held on 11 November 2025.

The shares of Taprobane Capital Plus will be acquired by Ambeon Capital PLC, the parent company of Ambeon Holdings, within 30 days. 

The transaction value is based on an independent valuation conducted by a professional firm of chartered accountants.

Taprobane Capital Plus functions as the investment holding company for several entities within the group, including Ambeon Securities Ltd., Taprobane Investments Ltd., Sherwood Capital Ltd., Taprobane Wealth Plus Ltd., and Lexinton Financial Services Ltd.

The divestment forms part of Ambeon Holdings’ ongoing restructuring initiative, which aims to consolidate its financial services operations. The company said transferring Taprobane Capital Plus under Ambeon Capital PLC will strengthen strategic alignment and operational focus within the group’s financial services vertical.
